We are currently seeking a Retail Innovation Manager to be located in our Richardson, TX headquarters, to report to our Senior Manager of Innovation. As part of the Innovation team, this role is responsible for leading Innovation projects/programs while working with external vendors, agencies, and internal departments for program support, approval, and execution. The Innovation team works on a wide range of projects from store openings to personal shopping programs. The team supports Internal stakeholders to help them achieve their wins while bringing ground breaking projects to life with the goal to either learn from pilot projects/programs or to Nationalize a project/program's success to then hand off to the proper team(s) & then start on a new project. Areas of Accountability: Strategic Programs Development
* Project Lead Pilot or new/never been done before projects
* Building out: Shop in Shops, Pop ups, Retail displays, showrooms
* Training events for internal & external retail representatives
* Developing programs for: Personal shoppers, consumer experiences
* Project preparation
* Project brief, communications, timelines, budget proposal/approval, brand & legal approval...Etc.
* Identifying opportunities for new programs to help overcome specific challenges for internal stakeholders as well as defining key metrics
* Cross team communication for updates & approvals as well as updating keeping WorkFront (Project Management system) up to date
* Work with marketing, brand teams to ensure that the project or program is in company compliance
* Collaborate with Retail Strategy team to prioritize testing & evaluation of new programs/categories Relationship Building
* Interface and work in collaboration with corporate partners, internal departments, and Senior Leadership to advance strategic programs and innovations
* Serve as an internal and external advocate for new programs and partnerships Business Acumen
* Thorough knowledge of retail and/or technology, as well as the competitive landscape
* Ability to translate insights, trends, complex analytics, and research findings to positively impact business
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Key Skills:
* Bachelor's Degree with +5 years of directly related experience is required across the high-tech Retail industry with at least 3 years in Project Lead/Program Management; exceptional candidates with strong interest and relevant experience can apply even if they have lesser tenure
* Superior organizational skills to keep up with multiple projects with aggressive deadlines & last minute fire drills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - PowerPoint & Excel skills would be a benefit
* Ability to communicate confidently & effectively as well as coordinate with all levels of the organization
* Ability to adapt, figure it out, & move quickly while keeping up with all necessary communication across all teams
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prepare proposals, identify objectives and KPIs, coordinate and direct project teams, manage project/programs end to end
* Presentation skills & ability to lead & organize meetings with internal & external teams as necessary Ability to travel 30-50% at varying times throughout the year.
